INFORMATION FOR POLICE OFFICERS

The San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) created the Ambassadors Foundation with the goal of assisting San Diego Police Department (SDPD) employees to become homeowners, providing them and their families a better quality of life as they become vested in homeownership and their surrounding communities. 

In the first phase of the program - Everyday Heroes – the Ambassadors Foundation will provide education and financial preparation, as well as buy down mortgage loan interest rates for qualifying SDPD officers.  

Qualifying Criteria for Officers

• Employee of SDPD for 2 to 5 years
• Current member of the Police Officers Association
• First-time home buyer
