INFORMATION FOR MORTGAGE BROKERS AND LENDERS

There are several ways mortgage brokers and lenders can participate in the SDAR Ambassadors Foundation Everyday Heroes Program.  Mortgage brokers and lenders can become certified, become a donor or consider volunteering for the program.

The Ambassador Buyers Certification for Mortgage Brokers is now available online

Sign up for the webinar and take the exam immediately following to become certified help police officers finance their first home.

Qualifying Criteria for Mortgage Brokers and Lenders

• Must be an affiliate member of SDAR (If Realtor and Mortgage Broker cannot represent the applicant in both)
• Must have at least 5 years experience as a mortgage broker
• Must have experience in originating 1st Time Home Buyer loans
• Must be familiar with and approved for MCC, all state programs, Freddie and Fannie special loans for 1st Time Home Buyers.
• Willingness to attend orientation program
• Must be approved with lenders offering the special programs
