WHAT IS THE "EVERYDAY HEROES" PROGRAM?

The San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) created the Ambassadors Foundation with the goal of assisting San Diego Police Department (SDPD) employees to become homeowners, providing them and their families a better quality of life as they become vested in homeownership and their surrounding communities. 

In the first phase of the program - Everyday Heroes – the Ambassadors Foundation will provide education and financial preparation, as well as buy down mortgage loan interest rates for qualifying SDPD officers by the end of 2007.  

Ambassador Buyer Certification for REALTORS®

The Ambassador Buyers Certification for REALTORS®, offered by SDAR, provides you the knowledge to assist first-time home buyers and also to become a REALTOR® who is certified to work with police officers who utilize the "Everyday Heroes" program.

SDAR golf tournament on July 25 benefits Ambassadors Foundation

The annual SDAR Golf Tournament is Friday, July 25, 2008, at the Maderas Golf Club in Poway. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the “Everyday Heroes” program of the Ambassadors Foundation, assisting San Diego Police Officer to become vested in home ownership in their own communities.
