WHAT IS THE "EVERYDAY HEROES" PROGRAM?
The San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) created the Ambassadors Foundation with the goal of assisting San Diego Police Department (SDPD) officers to become homeowners, providing them and their families a better quality of life as they become vested in homeownership and their surrounding communities.
The Ambassadors Foundation provides interest rate buy-downs and/or mortgage insurance buy-outs for qualified officers. The reduced loan rates will allow officers to save on monthly mortgage payments.
5K Walk / Fun Run on September 25 to benefit ‘Everyday Heroes’
As a benefit for the “Everyday Heroes” program, which helps San Diego Police Officers become homeowners, SDAR's Ambassadors Foundation is hosting a 5K Walk Fun Run on Saturday, September 25. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the new NTC Promenade at Liberty Station, Point Loma. Join the Walk for Cops.

Ambassador Buyer Certification for REALTORS® and Mortgage Brokers
The Ambassador Buyers Certification for REALTORS®, offered by SDAR, provides you the knowledge to assist first-time home buyers and also to become a REALTOR® who is certified to work with police officers who utilize the "Everyday Heroes" program.
The Ambassador Buyers Certification for Mortgage Brokers is now available online.
